DNASTAR has been a Wisconsin based business since inception in 1984. We currently have 40 employees, of which > 80% reside in Wisconsin. Our mission has always been and continues to be to provide useful, affordable, accessible software to as broad a range of life scientists as possible. We offer software on desktop computers, servers and the Amazon cloud.

We value innovation and market leadership. We have been cited in peer reviewed publications more than any other sequence analysis software company for each of the past 30 years and we have several issued and pending patents.

We serve general molecular biology research, clinical research and, more recently, structural biology research with world-class software for life scientists.
