Company Overview
Alfaisal University is a Western style university in the city of Riyadh, capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It opened on October of 2008. Alfaisal University has student-centred educational programs and plans on being a research-intensive university. Research laboratories are being constructed and will be operational September, 2010. In addition, memoranda of understanding have between established with nearby research institutes for access to their research facilities. Such institutes include King Fasal Specialist Hospital Research Centre, King Saud University and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.

The College of Medicine educational program is divided into 3 phases: Phase 1 being basic biomedical sciences and taught in the first year and a half. The second phase deals with the mechanisms of disease and occupies 1.5 years while Phase 3 is the clinical phase and occupies the last 2 years of the program. We have 35 students just entering Phase 2 and about 70 students in Phase 1 of the medical program.

Alfaisal University opened its doors on October 11, 2008 to its first year of students.
