- Postdoctoral Fellow in Rheumatology
Description
The Johns Hopkins Division of Rheumatology is heavily invested in efforts to understand the pathogenesis of rheumatic diseases through laboratory-based basic and translational research. As part of this initiative, we are inviting applications for a one or two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship position in the Division of Rheumatology at Johns Hopkins University. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with physician-scientist Brendan Antiochos, MD to dissect mechanisms responsible for pathogenic immune responses in female-biased rheumatic diseases (SLE and Sjogren’s Disease). This research program revolves around the role of the long noncoding RNA XIST in TLR7-dependent immune signaling in these conditions.
We are looking for exceptional applicants with solid laboratory and computational expertise. The selected applicant will be offered competitive compensation along with access to laboratory and computing resources, travel funds, and additional benefits consistent with department and university guidelines.
