The Department of Cell Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor, appointment stream, faculty position. Candidate must possess a background and foundation in synthesizing clinical and translational sciences in a health sciences environment, leveraging venture and start-up financing. Incumbent will help design, implement, and manage the systems, relationships, and operational frameworks needed to ensure that Pitt INC-funded ventures, internal investigators, and other external entities can efficiently access University capabilities-such as core facilities, tissue banks, and other scientific resources-at competitive rates and without unnecessary barriers. The Innovation Officer / Coordinator will play a pivotal role in translating institutional research capacity into sustainable commercial value, ensuring alignment between the University's academic mission and venture development activities.
