Description

Legacy Optometry is in search of a full-scope OD that is interested in providing compassionate, state of the art optometric care in Susanville, CA. If the associate enjoys this practice, partnership and ownership is on the table! This practice is the only full-scope practice within 80 miles, and sees full-scope care, from pediatrics to geriatrics, from urgent care to ER care. As a result, an OD with a full scope license in CA (Glaucoma/TPAs) is preferred. This practice is equipped with state-of –the art technology in glaucoma and macular degeneration management (Optovue OCT, Virtual Field full threshold fields, pachymetry, retinal imaging, iCare tonometry, and more), and will continue to stay advanced in full medical scope eye care.

Susanville, with a population of 17000, is located in the heart of Lassen County, CA, and is in the middle of the beautiful northern Sierras. There is wonderful fishing, hiking, biking, and lakes all within a 60-mile radius. If you enjoy the outdoors, space to yourself, and all of the seasons, Susanville would be a great fit for you.

Full time will be considered as 4.5 days/week with patients (Mon-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-12). This position will have a very great base salary with production incentives included.

2 weeks of paid vacation will be offered (and grown upon over time), as well as a savings/retirement plan that will begin at 1 year of continuous employment. We at Legacy Optometry want to create a position for a long-term career for the right OD.

We at Legacy Optometry also have two full time tele-optometric lanes serviced with our partner, Digital Optometrics. This allows expanded access to the community, as well as medical referrals to the onsite Dr. for specialized diagnostics and treatment.
