What You’ll Do

• Provide daily husbandry, diet preparation, and habitat maintenance for a wide variety of exotic animals, livestock, and domestic species.
• Implement animal handling, socialization, and enrichment programs to ensure animal well-being and safety.
• Instruct campers on animal care, biology, conservation, and handling protocols during interactive daily activity sessions.
• Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting observations to supervisory staff.
• Lead cabin groups daily, mentoring youth and fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging camp environment.

What We'll Provide

• Competitive Pay: Starting salary of $4,050 for the 11-week summer season.

• Camp Store Credit: Includes an additional $100 credit for snacks, gear, and supplies.
• Professional Certifications: Opportunities for additional leadership training and certifications for qualified candidates, such as lifeguarding.
• Schedule: Position requires availability on-site 7 days a week (including weekends) for the contract period. To support rest and work-life balance, counselors receive a 2-hour break each day and 1 scheduled day off every week.
